My first adventure was to go sand surfing at Quang Phu Sand Dunes.

The sand dunes are constantly shaped and reshaped by the wind and the waves, creating a dynamic and diverse landscape that attracts many visitors.

The Quang Phu Sand Dunes are a must-see destination for anyone who wants to experience the beauty and adventure of Vietnam’s natural scenery.

The Quang Phu Sand Dunes are a natural wonder located in the province of Quang Binh, Vietnam. They are composed of fine white sand that stretches for kilometers along the coast of the South China Sea.

The sand dunes offer a range of activities for tourists, such as sandboarding, quad biking, camel riding, and kite flying. The best time to visit there is in the early morning or late afternoon, when the sun casts a golden glow on the sand and the temperature is more pleasant.

World Heritage Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, with its karst mountains, underground rivers, historic sites, extensive caves and unspoilt jungle, is packed with opportunities to hike, bike, paddle or relax in one of Vietnam's most spectacular and interesting regions

Vietnam is known for its unique karst landscapes, which are formed from the dissolution of soluble rocks like limestone and dolomite.

These landscapes create complex cave systems that house unique ecosystems and geological formations that are not found anywhere else in the world.

The caves of Vietnam are a significant geological formation with rich cultural and historical value. With their impressive size, unique geological features, and fascinating ecosystem, they have become a popular destination for adventurers and tourists worldwide.

The park was named a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2003 for its distinctive geologic features. Hang Son Doong, one of the largest caves, is greater than 2.5 miles long, and at points is over 300 feet wide and 600 feet high.

Vietnam’s spectacular caves feature unique geological formations, including stalactites, stalagmites, and other incredible rock formations.

These formations are created over millions of years through the slow deposition of calcium carbonate from the dripping water.

The history of caves in Vietnam can be traced back to prehistoric times. At that time, early human civilizations used these natural formations for shelter, storage, and religious purposes. Archaeological excavations have uncovered human occupation in several of Vietnam’s caves dating back to the Stone Age, around 10,000-30,000 years ago.

Vo Nguyen Giap, (born 1912, An Xa, Vietnam—died October 4, 2013, Hanoi), Vietnamese military and political leader whose perfection of guerrilla as well as conventional strategy and tactics led to the Viet Minh victory over the French (and to the end of French colonialism in Southeast Asia) and later to the North Vietnamese victory over South Vietnam and the United States.

The Swallow Island is not far from Vung Chua. It is the home to swallow birds so the island is named after the bird. It takes just over a 20 minute boat ride from Vung Chua to Swallow Island. The space here is extremely spacious. Amid the ocean, the Swallow Island emerges as a green jewel, with poetic and wild beauty.

Looking forward to a day for a day out filled with adrenaline, fun and frolic at the Dark Cave.

The Dark Cave tours in Phong Nha can be booked at almost any homestay, hostel or hotel in Phong Nha or just simply need to hop on a bike, follow the map and visit the cave by yourself.

The Dark Cave Tour is one of the best one day tours in Phong Nha, if you’re a fan of obstacle courses, swimming, kayaking, mud bathing, caves and zip-lining (Vietnam’s longest zip-line)!

If you’re wondering why this cave got the name ‘Dark Cave’, it’s actually quite self-explanatory. The whole cave has absolutely no artificial lighting system installed inside and once you’re inside you’ll also observe that the majority of the rocks are dark; primarily dark gray or black. Also, when you come out of the Dark Cave, after having an unforgettable mud bath, you will surely be darker than the cave!

Đá Nhảy Beach is a beautiful beach on the shore of the East Sea, 40 km north of Đồng Hới city, Quảng Bình Province, Vietnam.

This is one of the most important attraction sites in Quảng Bình, along with Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park

Đá Nhảy in Vietnamese means "the rocks that jump", referring to the topographical feature of this beach which sees thousands of rocks reaching the sea, surrounding small fine sand beaches suitable for sea bathing
